Restaurant Farang in Stockholm is owned by three chefs – Kim Öhman, Tomi Björck and Matti Wikberg. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of an old industrial hall on Tulegatan. The unique setting and the rustic decor ensure a memorable dining experience.
Restaurant Gaijin is Tomi Björck and Matti Wikberg’s second restaurant. Gaijin takes you on a journey to North Asia. Located in an excellent spot on the corner of Bulevardi and Yrjönkatu, the restaurant opened its doors in April of 2011. Gaijin offers unique flavors by combining traditional Japanese and Korean dishes with dishes from the North of China, in a modern way. The restaurant’s facilities are suitable for various kinds of events and gatherings. The dining room has a warm intimate atmosphere suitable for a private dining experience, whilst the bar is a relaxed lounge area with long communal tables and a sunny terrace which offers something for everyone.
Farang is a restaurant which serves modern Asian cuisine, located within the premises of the historical Kunsthalle Helsinki. Farang offers unique and fresh flavors from Southeast Asia. Farang’s simplified, modern and atmospheric decor combined with the warm service and strong expertise in Asian cuisine creates an excellent setting for a comprehensive dining experience. The restaurant’s versatile dining areas can easily be arranged to accommodate various kinds of events. Farang was chosen Finland’s best restaurant in 2011 by restaurant industry’s professionals.
Farang Stockholm – Sweden was opened in January 2013.
First we traveled, tasted all kinds of flavors and enjoyed the world. Then we brought our experiences together in the kitchen and opened a restaurant. Boulevard Social is our third restaurant and it opened its doors in May 2012. The kitchen and bar on the beautiful boulevard offers an exciting and innovative combination of traditional flavors from Greece, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco and other Mediterranean countries. The simple bistro decor used in the restaurant has been designed to enhance the restaurant’s unique flavors we have created with love.
